The simplest way to get free nights at Four Seasons properties is to take advantage of their one-night free offers, which include one free night for a certain number of paid nights at select properties.
One of the best Four Seasons free-night offers is a seven-night stay at the beautiful Four Seasons Seychelles, which regularly offers two free nights for every five paid nights.
Another way to score two free nights at a Four Seasons property, combine the fourth-night free benefit from the Citi Prestige Mastercard with a third or fifth-night free offer from Four Seasons hotels.
This perk applies to AAA and other discount rates. It’s worth noting that the Citi Prestige comes with a $450 annual fee, and booking must be done through Citi Prestige cardmember services.
Another travel credit card worth considering is the Barclay Arrival Plus World Mastercard, which has a sign-up bonus of 50,000 miles–enough for a $500 statement credit.
So let’s say you want to stay at the Four Seasons Seychelles, where the average cost per night is $1,000. Booking the Four Seasons special offer to stay seven nights for the price of five, and using Barclay miles would cost less than 70,000 miles per night!
For comparison, a one-night stay in a standard king beach villa at the Conrad Maldives costs 95,000 HHonors points.
If you have an abundance of American Express Membership Rewards points, an alternate method for staying at Four Seasons hotels is redeeming Membership Rewards points for Four Seasons gift cards via the Membership Rewards travel portal.
Even though the cost represents a value of only .8 cents per point (as 12,000 Membership Rewards points = one $100 Four Seasons gift card), you could combine Four Seasons gift cards purchased via Membership Rewards points with Four Seasons free-night offers and travel credit card perks to earn a huge discount or even a free stay.
Obviously, there are less expensive hotel brands in which to use rewards points. However, given that Four Seasons does not currently have a loyalty program and approximately 100 hotels worldwide, these options provide a more attainable way to stay at some really spectacular properties.
