of France on this 10-day celebratory trip from April 5 to April 14, 2028!

Begin with five nights in Paris, exploring iconic landmarks, enjoying fine dining, and discovering the city’s rich Black heritage. Then travel south to Nice for four nights of Mediterranean scenery, charming coastal villages, and relaxed Riviera living.

The Food

Parisian cuisine combines classic French technique with the city’s long tradition of cafés, bistros, bakeries, and fine dining. While dishes vary widely across the capital, staples include buttery croissants and baguettes, steak frites, French onion soup, duck confit, pâté, crêpes, and rich pastries.

Paris is also known for its cheese and charcuterie, often served alongside crusty bread and wine, while its restaurant scene ranges from neighborhood bistros to some of the world’s most renowned fine-dining establishments.

French Riviera cuisine reflects the region’s Mediterranean setting, with an emphasis on fresh seafood, vegetables, herbs, olive oil, and bright, Provençal flavors. Local specialties include socca, a thin chickpea pancake popular in Nice; salade niçoise, made with ingredients such as tomatoes, green beans, olives, tuna, and eggs; ratatouille; pissaladière, a savory onion tart; and bouillabaisse, the famous Provençal fish stew associated with Marseille. Fresh fish and shellfish are plentiful, while ingredients such as olives, tomatoes, garlic, basil, and lavender give the cuisine its distinctly southern character. Along the coast, dining often centers on seafood, rosé, and Provençal dishes enjoyed against the backdrop of the Mediterranean.

During this trip, you’ll sample various local foods and participate in a fantastic mix of cultural experiences you’ll remember for a lifetime.
