Every summer deserves an ultimate getaway with your girls. There’s nothing quite like sipping margaritas with your chicas on the beach and taking a break from the boys back home. With so many destinations to choose from, it can be an overwhelming feat to pick the perfect, epic vacay. Luckily, I have compiled a list of the best BFF destinations. So, grab your girl squad and get ready to plan a trip to these top girls trip locations that you won’t soon forget (depending on the alcohol consumption, of course).

Greek Islands

Nothing says girls trip quite like island hopping in Greece. With so many stunning islands to choose from, it’s hard to go wrong. Islands like Milos offer stunning beaches like Sarakiniko Beach, which feels like another planet due to its stark white rocks.

Santorini is one of the most iconic islands in the world. Famous for its white houses and pink flowers decorating the island, it also offers crystal-clear waters and volcanic, black sand beaches. Just imagine you and your girls sunbathing on one of their iconic beaches or riding horses along the shore. For the perfect accommodations in the heart of Fira, book a stay at Porto Fira Suites or Porto Fira Villas with your gal pals. Wherever you decide to stay in Santorini, you’re sure to have a view overlooking the island due to its hilly landscape. And a popular activity that would be great for your girlfriends is a Santorini Flying Dress photo shoot.

After visiting Santorini, you can take a ferry over to Mykonos for some party vibes. Mykonos is known for its beachside bars and for its clubs. It is even referred to as the Ibiza of Greece. You can stop by Lindsay Lohan’s club, Lohan Beach House Mykonos. With so many clubs to choose from, the girls are sure to have an epic time. Just make sure to pack some Tylenol for the hangovers!

Bali, Indonesia

Bali is always a good idea, especially when the girl squad is involved. This tropical island of Indonesia has gained massive attraction throughout the years, and rightfully so. With so much to offer, from its many waterfalls to epic surf to luxury spas, Bali is at the top of everyone’s list.

When visiting the “island of the gods,” your group can rent an entire stunning pool villa complex like Mahagiri Spa & Villas for $1,000 per night! However, when split, the cost can be as low as $100 per night. It’s the perfect setting for a group of friends, whether you’re more sporty and adventurous or looking for a relaxing spa retreat.

Bali has some of the greatest beaches for surfing in the world, some incredible hikes through the jungle to waterfalls or you can even hunt for ghosts at an abandoned theme park! And the temples, architecture, and food are incredible, too.

For the friend groups that are looking for a little TLC, there are several luxury spas, like those near Ubud Market, that ‘wonÃ’t break the bank. Imagine spending the entire day at the spa and still being able to afford a five-star dinner. Groundbreaking. Also famous for its beach bars, you won’t be short of a cocktail, a party, or a hangover. Bali is the place for anyone looking for luxury on a budget, an adventure or to just live out that island dream.

Ibiza

No girls trip list would be complete without Ibiza. This infamous island is located just off the coast of mainland Spain and can be summed up in two words: beaches and parties. Ibiza is the place to be if you and your girls are looking to party the night away. During the day, you can charter a yacht and enjoy the day out on the water. Make sure to also check out Formentera Beach, which can be easily reached via water taxi.

Of course, Ibiza is not only a place to be for parties. You can also chill in the pool, drinks in hand, at one of the many hotels or seaside restaurants like Kasbah Ibiza, which offers the most stunning views and memorable sunsets. However, if you are in fact there to party, you won’t find a better place than clubs like Amnesia. Ibiza boasts some of the wildest parties, making it perfect for an all-girls getaway.

Bora Bora

Every little girl dreams of her wedding day, her kids’ names and Bora Bora. Any girlfriend’s escape should include an overwater bungalow. Nothing says island getaway with the girls quite like it. Surrounded by clear water and picturesque mountains, Bora Bora is the tropical island getaway that the doctor ordered. The island has much to offer including spas, yoga on the beach and epic snorkeling.

Picture this: you have just woken up, you open your door and jump straight into the gorgeous blue water. I honestly can’t think of a better way to wake up. And of course, if the BFFs are looking for an island party, there are several beach clubs and pool parties waiting to welcome you with open arms. Truly the full package, Bora Bora could be the perfect fit for your girlfriend’s summer vacation. For the most luxurious stay, book overwater villas at the St. Regis Bora Bora or the Four Seasons Bora Bora.

With so many insane destinations in the world, it can feel impossible to choose one. However, each of these has been tried and tested by girlfriends all over the world, and they stand out as the best places to take the girlies. Whether your girl group is looking to party on the beach or kick up your feet at the spa, these destinations will be the perfect fit. Either way, this summer your girls will be treating themselves to luxury, island vibes and hopefully lots of Sex on the Beach (the drink or otherwise).

  • A friends
  • Some travel moments deserve a proper seat and an unhurried cup of tea. At Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, afternoon tea at Fairview Restaurant brings together scones, delicate sandwiches and loose-leaf tea with a view of the lake. The pleasure is in the details: the china, the conversation and the mountain setting just beyond the window. It is an inviting idea for anyone who enjoys making a meal part of the memory. Explore the Banff guide and save this table for your list: https://tripwishlist.com/where-to-eat-in-banff/ #LakeLouise #BanffTravel #AfternoonTea #CanadianRockies #TheTripWishList
  • Planning a trip? Make sure you’re not making these common travel mistakes.Your dream getaway deserves more than rushed decisions and last-minute stress. From choosing the right destinations to creating an experience you’ll truly enjoy, the right planning makes all the difference. #travelplanning #womenover40 #travelbetter #dreamtrip #womentravel #travelinspiration #wanderlust #thetripwishlist
  • The person making your coffee, weaving a textile, or arranging flowers has a day of their own underway. If you would like a portrait, begin with a greeting and explain what you are asking for. Be equally clear if you hope to share the image publicly. A warm exchange can happen with the camera tucked away, too. Respect the answer without bargaining, thank them for their time, and let the interaction end comfortably. What travel conversation has stayed with you long after the trip? #RespectfulTravel #TravelPhotography #CulturalTravel #WomenTravelers #TheTripWishList
  • A mother-daughter getaway or a trip with friends can call for two bedrooms with an easy connection between them. Before you reserve, ask about the actual door. Hotel terminology varies, and a note asking for nearby rooms may leave the arrangement subject to availability. Request a clear answer about whether the internal connection is confirmed, then check the bed configuration for both rooms. Send the question on slide four to the person handling your reservation so everyone is picturing the same setup. #HotelRoomTips #MotherDaughterTravel #TravelOver40 #WomenWhoTravel #TheTripWishList
  • Chicago gives you a different city from every rooftop. At Cindy’s, the view opens toward Millennium Park and Lake Michigan. LondonHouse puts the Chicago River in the frame. Chateau Carbide pairs its outlook with the character of the Art Deco Carbide and Carbon Building. That makes the evening about more than what is in your glass: it is a chance to notice the city’s architecture from a new angle. Which view would you stay over? • Screenshots are inspiration. They are not an itinerary. If your camera roll is full of hotels, restaurants, cities, beaches, and “one day” trips, the next step is not saving more. It’s sorting those ideas into: 1. what fits your life now 2. what belongs on a future list 3. what deserves a real planThat decision alone can turn travel from something you endlessly research into something you actually do.Want the framework I use to make that process simpler? • A dream trip starts as a collection of ideas.A bookable trip needs structure.Which destination? How many days? What is worth prioritizing? Where should you stay? What needs to be booked first? How much breathing room does the itinerary need? That’s the gap The Bespoke Travel Method is designed to close, so you can stop circling the same ideas and start building a trip you can confidently book.Comment LEARN, and I’ll point you to the next step.#TravelItinerary #LuxuryTravel #TravelPlanning #TravelOver40 #WomenWhoTravel #BucketListTravel #TravelAdvisor #PlanYourTrip #TheTripWishList
  • Alaska is a perfect example of why timing matters.Wildlife, daylight, road-trip conditions, hiking, kayaking, crowds, and even the kind of scenery you experience can shift depending on when you go.If Alaska is on your list, don’t start by choosing a hotel. Start by choosing the version of Alaska you want to experience.Read the full guide: https://tripwishlist.com/best-time-to-visit-alaska/Save this for future Alaska planning.#AlaskaTravel #BucketListTravel #AdventureTravel #TravelOver40 #WomenWhoTravel #LuxuryTravel #TravelPlanning #AlaskaTrip #TheTripWishList
